UMA Midwifery has transitioned to incorporate The JJ Way® model. The goal of The JJ Way® is to eliminate racial and class disparities in perinatal health and improve birth outcomes for all.
This innovative model builds on the strengths of the Midwives Model of Care™ to reach a population that does not typically seek midwifery services. It acknowledges and supports each person’s choice of location and caregiver for the delivery of their baby.
The JJ Way® is a ‘way of being’ that ALWAYS centers the mother/baby/family first, as opposed to centering their condition, the provider or the healthcare agency.
UMA Easy-Access Clinic™ provides safe, quality, and loving care throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey.
We offer support and guidance every step of the way.
Applying The JJ Way® model of care, we focus on access, connection, knowledge, and empowerment as keys to a healthy pregnancy, a healthy birth, and a healthy baby.
